I grew up in the Tri-Cities and had a very happy upbringing here. I used my background in gymnastics and cheerleading, to land a spot on the nationally recognized All-Girl cheer team at Morehead State University in Kentucky. While it was amazing to say that I made it onto such a reputable team, I eventually decided to move closer to home and transferred to WSU (Go Cougs!). After spending one winter in Pullman, I applied for the Disney College Program in Florida. I was accepted and spent a semester working at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. As cheesy as it sounds, I honestly did feel like I was creating magic for those kids.
When my program ended, I came back to Washington and finished school, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree. I spent my senior year applying for graduate programs in Occupational Therapy. Around the same time, I got engaged to my now husband (a British hottie that came from England on a full ride tennis scholarship). He was offered his dream job in the Tri-Cities, and after a lot of thought and prayer, he accepted the position and I withdrew my graduate applications. We had one last hoorah and traveled Europe for three months. When I came back, I had a lot of clarity and was ready to settle down in Tri-Cities.
My mind had been stuck on the medical field for so long, but I eventually realized that what I loved about the medical field is also what appealed to me in Real Estate- helping people through life transitions and building meaningful relationships. After passing the state and national exam, I chose to work at Windermere because their core values (care, communication, integrity, knowledge, and commitment) aligned with my personal mission to provide quality service and build relationships. I love my career and the opportunity I have to serve the people of this amazing community.
